Mary Kay has been providing psychotherapy in the Sheboygan area for over 25 years. She is a licensed clinical psychotherapist and a substance abuse counselor. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1975. She sees clients experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, loss and grief, relationship issues, and trauma. She specializes in trauma informed care with survivors of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and assault. She works with women on issues of health, spirituality and self-esteem.
Her approach is friendly, gentle, caring and safe. Her wholistic approach includes treating the whole person: mind, body and spirit. Clients want to be restored to a healthy and balanced level of functioning, and therapy is one avenue to achieve that.
Mary Kay is also a Reki practitioner having achieved the level of Reki Master.
